Controls on 4.0.0 send punches in a new format that an older Prime drops. Update Prime first, then the Controls, before your next event.
Which Control file do I need?
It depends on the circuit board inside. A Control that switches on with a swipe of the magnet on its left-hand side is PCB v4; one that needs the magnet held still on its right-hand side for 5 seconds is PCB v6 or later. The version is also printed on the board, and you can read it through the clear lid.
