Test at Tin Hut

It was time to test all 9 meshO radios we have at an event to see how they perform all operating together, as well as how meshO Prime can handle lots of punches arriving and sending to the event software (MeOS in this case).

meshO network on map

This shows the location of the radios and the signal strength between the radios with a connection. The many green lines shows that we had no issues at all with signal strength, even considering some of the challenging terrain.

We thought we’d have to use a meshO Boost near control 250, as it was deep in an erosion gully (2.5m deep), and not only did it have an excellent connection to 253, but also had medium signal to 3 other radios. The 2 meshO Boost didn’t even get turned on…

There was one small hiccup found with the firmware about half way though the event, and this has now been fixed.

So - great test overall, and ready for the next event!
